Thrill the World The Hippodrome Theatre Dance Baltimore participated in a world wide effort to break the Guinnes Book of World Record for "the most people dancing the same dance at the same time" (formerly held by the Hokie Pokie. Close to 300 people in full zombie costume danced in Baltimore) 2009 to present

Dance Baltimore offers a day long dance festival with afternoon youth concert and an evening concert of thirteen local professional ensembles. Lewis Museum Six months of dance classes at the Museum inspired city residents to view the exemplary exhibit view the eyes of participants, dancers! Intermediate Modern Dance Classes Intermediate Level dancers study with the area's most prominent instructors to improve strength, technique, and performance quality. Jasmine Walters, Instructor Danah Bella, Instructor Torens Johnson, Instructor Let's Go Aerial! Gestung Center Dance Baltimore provides an opportunity to experience a variety of dance styles. An aerial dance class led by Jayne Bernasconi, 2009 and 2010 sold out both years. 2014 Global Expressions: A World Dance Showcase Performances by four dance ensembles created excitement onstage at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts. 2013 to present
Community Dance Workshop Students from all ages and various walks of life, learned from a collective of talented choreographers of African Dance, Hip Hop, Modern, and more to end a six week intensive with a performance at venues like the Murphy Fine Arts Center, Goucher University and The Baltimore Museum of Art. |
